<p>Found a deal that I thought I'd pass along for parents making reservations for orientation. The Ramada in Amherst has a UB Parents club thing and quoted me a $74/night rate (which includes a continental breakfast)...$15 lower than the AAA rate. This hotel is very close to UB North Campus.</p>
<p>Thanks for information. I had a room booked there for when I go up to move my son in August(he is going to be a junior). I saved $24 from the AAA rate to the UB parent rate.</p>
<p>Just a follow up to say it was a good experience at the Ramada - clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly. Room was large and in good shape. The continental buffet set up in the hotel restaurant even had fresh waffles. I could see Ellicott from my window.</p>
