UBC admission

hello I am an international student wanting to apply at UBC. In my junior year I had a. 3.6 GPA on both semesters. Senior first semester 3.8. 96 on the toefl. I applied in International Relations. I created my own environmental project and working with local schools. I play basketball, soccer, involved in leadership clubs, student government, etc. However I had a 17 on my ACT. I also got a 800 on my SAT SUBJECT TEST in French. I challenged myself with 5 AP classes starting in my junior year.

Nonetheless I am scared to be rejected because I do not meet the minimum ACT requirements .

I had the chance to speak to a UBC admissions officer, who told me that her team really does try to judge each applicant as a “person”, not just by his or her marks! So your Personal Profile (essays) can make or break your application. Good luck! Your ECs sound impressive.
