How does UBC engineering rank in north america? Also how does Concordia's rank? Anyone know job placment stats for these two? Just curious in my second to last day of summer break :( it's almost over :(

So far I plan to apply to McGill (#1) and UBC in canada...in addition to of course my American laundry list of schools.

I'm not sure about where UBC or Concordia rank, but U of Waterloo is considered to be one of the top schools for engineering in Canada.

What kind of stats are needed to get into Waterloo? (as an american) I was looking for more of an international/different experience (which I think Montreal or Vancouver would provide). Ontario somehow seems more americanish almost. It looks like a great program - but I am not sure if it would be worth the hassle if it is going to be like America 2.0. Same reason I have not really looked at places like Queens and U of T. Maybe I should look..

edit: I hope I made it clear that I am not insulting Waterloo - I just never thought about actually attending a school in Ontario bc I wanted an experience at least slightly different then here in the US (yes, admittedly a large # of the schools on my list are American)
