Hi everyone,
I am an international student who is planning to attend the University of British Columbia in the future and hoping that I can receive the International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES) or the Outstanding International Student Award (OISA). Are there any international students here who are currently attending UBC and have won any of these 2 scholarships? If so, mind giving me some advice on what I should do to boost my chances of getting the scholarships besides getting good grades? (E.g. what qualities or values should I demonstrate or what extracurriculars should I do?) Your response is greatly appreciated, thank you!!! :^)
