So I was looking to apply to The University of British Columbia but I can’t officially start applying until the fall. I was looking on their website to see if I could get a head start on the personal statements but it doesn’t give you the prompts until you start the application process. Does anyone have an idea as to what the prompts may be so that I could start writing them and not have to stress about it in the fall?
The prompts are generally very broad. If I were you, I would just spend some time gathering ideas of what you might want to write about (significant life events, things that have influenced you, challenges you’ve faced, etc…) because it’s likely that you’ll be able to apply a lot of those to the questions they ask.
I thought they just had a personal profile? Is that what you’re talking about?
