UBC vs Waterloo Business

<p>Hi!Everyone! </p>

<p>I'm currently a high school student in toronto, ontario, and I am going to enter one of the Canadian universities in this coming September 2012. I have applied to numerous universities in Vancouver and Ontario and I want to business program (maybe accounting?).Among all of the offers that I have received, I am deciding whether to go to Vancouver UBC-Bcom, or Waterloo's Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) Coop program-CA. </p>

<p>I want to achieve a balance between social lofe and academics and get some work experience. Which school would be the right choice for me?

<p>You would get a better response if you posted in the Canada subsection. But, as a former Canadian, these are both well-resepcted schools. I do believe that going to Waterloo will give you a slight advantage simply because of its good co-op program. UBC has a good social life, though I’m sure Waterloo does as well.</p>
