<p>Hi all! Okay so the deadline for all the schools I'm applying to is Jan 1, but one of my teachers is still working on his recommendation. I understand that teachers usually get a grace period...and that it's usually okay for them to submit their recs a COUPLE DAYS LATE.
BUT it's been OVER A WEEK after the deadline! I'm starting to get worried and I already emailed him a couple of times but he's not responding! He emailed me on new year's letting me know that he's still working on it..and he hasn't emailed me since.
Just HOW LATE can teachers submit their recs? =(</p>

<p>BUMP I want to know this… I am in a similar situation (although my teahers have written their recommendation letters ages ago. It’s just that my counselor has not sent them yet).</p>
<p>My Ivy alma mater has until about the end of Feb for the file to be complete. After all, they’re going through about 24000 apps. Plz relax</p>
