u look good..ur stats r amazing

2390??? Jesus Christ
I promise you'll get into NYU. Everything else you have a good chance too.

Why ask? You're just like everyother highly qualified applicant. Just wait and see.

You're ECs don't seem to stand out though. Of course, I'm not familiar with California math competitions.

Ummmm you need a viable safety...

Harvard - waitlisted
Princeton - waitlisted
Stanford - waitlisted
MIT Sloan - waitlisted/accepted
UPenn Wharton - waitlisted
Columbia (economics) - IN
NYU Stern (biz program) - IN
Cornell (biz program or economics) - IN
Washington University in St Louis - waitlisted (they will not believe they are your first choice and they will be right)

Where are the safeties. An Asian applicant from CA with very high stats is a dime a dozen. With weak ECs, there's a real chance of not getting into any of these schools.

On the other hand, I think with great essays and recs you have a real shot at lower ivies, Stern and the like. I don't see HPS.

mit likes good sat and gpa so u have a good chance
nyu and cornell- probably
idk about the rest

But his ECs are nothing special, so may kids apply with top SATs top GPAs and a couple of meh ECs.

well thats true
all his ecs r basically volunteering
and then a board game club isnt all that great...
and psat didn't get natl merit semifinalist...

ok i change my mind
prob. not mit
but then again, u never know
