UC Davis is out already??

Mine still says late april on the Davis login deal…

Are you in high school? If so, this is a forum only for UC transfer students.

@seaworld
Nope. I won’t know until April. I’m saying I was accepted into UCD in December when I applied in high school because of ELC. I’m a transfer now lol.

Well this sucks only the first batches for UCSD, SB, and Irvine came out and its almost april, hopefully there is some more action next week (first week of april)

Actually SB has been releasing decisions since the first big batch

so ucla is for sure the 20th?

I think we’re all sticking (and praying) to that release date

Yea if not it’ll probably be a week after near Cal’s release date…

but until then… [Big Booty Bitches by @ALostPeople (reposted cuz u asked us too - YouTube](<a href=“Big Booty Bitches by @ALostPeople (reposted cuz u asked us too :) - YouTube”>Big Booty Bitches by @ALostPeople (reposted cuz u asked us too :) - YouTube)

Hmm, I was checking out the UC system’s application statistics at a link that someone posted on the UCI thread, and I noticed that the number of transfer apps that UCLA received this year dropped back down almost to the same number they received back in 2010… I’m wondering if that means that their admit rates/average admitted GPA’s this year will be closer to 2010’s? That would be pretty awesome if that were the case.

Maybe I’m just overanalyzing here, I’m just getting anxious as the date approaches! Did anyone notice that the number of transfer apps to SD dropped by almost 11%??

Regardless its still gonna depend on what major you’re applying too. A sociology major with a low GPA is gonna have a better chance of getting into to any UC school, as opposed to a Microbio major…etc. As for the regents scholarship. You have to get an invitation to apply. The invitation is only given to the top 1.5% of students, so basically you have to have a 4.0, tons of extracurriculars…etc You have to write a 300 word essay, and get 1 letter of recommendation. I got an invitation to UCLA’s Regents scholarship and after the application deadline was over they said 350 students submitted their application but only 50 students will get the actual scholarship. I hope I get it!!! Should hear back by the end of may, but someone told me they let you know when admission decisions are made.

@newchapter14: with the insane budget cuts/etc etc I’m sure it will only get more difficult to get into the UCs rather than the flip side of that :/

Looks like the “projected” timings for most the UCs has been pushed back into April… oh how hopeful i was a month ago on the decisions coming early

UC did it again!

when is davis supposed to come out?

not sure, i think next week before picnic day though.

LOL @ UCLA. It’s only an accident if it happens once or twice, but the UC’s keep screwing with people and sending emails to the “wrong pools”.

Any idea if/when we’ll see Davis next week?
