I just had an amazing revelation.

Maybe a lot of us haven't heard back from any UCs this week because the campuses are on Spring Break...

genius much?

Maybe a lot of us haven't heard back from any UCs this week because the campuses are on Spring Break...

genius much?

wow that makes me feel so much better

duhhhhhhhhh

Honestly I did not even think about that.

If it takes a genius to figure that out then we're in trouble.

sorry to say, but i got into UCI during UC spring break.

I made a thread about it too.

Checked it 2 Am ish technically the 27, but probably was released to me on the 26th.

Lol sorry to burst your bubble D:

yeah, i think berkeley released freshman decisions on the 27th too, also sorry to say, but that's berkeley

Wouldn't they have put a disclaimer on their website saying the campus is closed and not to expect decisions?

I mean, the UCSB decision page said that the campus was closed for the Cesar Chavez Holiday and not to expect decisions; why wouldn't they inform us about Spring Break?

oh those typical UCs. they're just making it difficult at this point.

campuses are not closed during spring break

I can picture the admissions officers seating back on their chair with their feet up on the desk eating donuts, reading CC, and chuckling every now and then

and sharing stories in personal statements they think are bad and laugh about it with other admission officers
