UC Admission by Examination

Has anybody gotten into UC Davis or any other UC by UC’s “admission by examination”? Thanks!

I’m interested in “Admission by Examination” because I didn’t get good grades and a good GPA for my sophomore and junior years.

The web site spells out the criteria - here’s a link:

[Admission by exam | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/examination/)

It looked like you needed to take the SAT and 2 subject tests and average 700+ per section. That’s quite a score. Also note, eligibility doesn’t mean admission. I would be shocked if UCB or UCLA accepts any students this way.

Thanks NCalRent! Do you mean 700+ for each section of the SAT and for each SAT II Subject Test? Does this apply to all UCs or only the 1st tier UCs? I mean I would love going to schools like UCSB or UCI, though I do know that my chances aren’t that good, but at the very least, I would like to attend a UC school no matter the campus.

I had a 459 UC score and was shitcanned everywhere. Anybody else get in?

When is the last time somebody was admitted this way?
