<p>so what does that mean... i can only see if i was admitted before 9am?</p>
<p>I think it means that they update the notifications everyday before 9am (maybe not everyday), but you can check your status anytime.</p>
<p>Right. It means if you check at 10 a.m. Tuesday, there is no need to recheck at noon or 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. - the next time there will be new information is at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. They are saving you the trouble of rechecking over and over throughout the day.</p>
<p>oh that makes a lot of sense. so has anyone been accepted to uci yet? i dont have a response on my application page, so i was wondering when the first batch of acceptance notifications are coming thourgh</p>
<p>The UCI fourm already has people posting their acceptances. However, most of these people have gotten the regents scholarship through UCI.</p>
<p>Umm, UCI sends out notifications WAY before March 1st or March 15. cuz I got mine on Feb. 15th. I know of a lot of ppl in our hs (abt 7 of 60 who applied) got them on this day as well. So, I bet they are probably into their 2nd or 3rd batch starting today. Dont worry tho, this doesnt mean that u were rejectd. UCI tho is the earliest UC that starts its process i think.</p>
<p>Actually, UC Riverside and Merced send their notifications earlier.</p>
<p>However, I did not apply to UCR or Merced because I did not feel that they were a good fit for me.</p>
<p>I got my acceptance letter on Monday and so did two of my friends.</p>
