I'm so confused... if we are from out of state does the UC course list not show up or what... in that part where we self report our grades. Also, all 9th grade courses are not honors???

yes, the UC course list is prepared based on submissions by Calif high schools. Thus, just do your best. The individual UC campuses have specific readers for OOS apps, and they are supposed to interpret your transcript based on your HS offerings.

As a general rule, 9th and 10th grade classes are not UC-approved for the honors bonus point, even if they are classified as "honors" by your HS. For example, Honors Alg II is not bonus-point eligible, since Alg II is required for admission. Honors Bio will not count for a bonus point since it is typically a Frosh course. However, an AP course would be eligible for a bonus point if you took it as a Soph.

Note, 9th grade courses do not count for the calculated "UC-gpa", which is academic a-g courses only, for Soph and Jr years.

thanks for the clarification... heh they really don't want oos people do they... they make it so confusing.
