So, I attended a UC for my freshman year and a CC for my sophomore year. I am planning on transferring to another UC, and I am having a little trouble figuring out my personal stats. My grades from this past semester at a CC just arrived (4.0! Wahoo!!), and I am unsure how to calculate my new GPA. Semester units are worth more than quarter units, and I am a bit confused on how to account for this. For example, my UCSB GPA (3.58) is worth 45 quarter units, and my CC GPA (4.0) is worth 15 semester units). Do any of you know how to do the math?
PS. These are all UC-transferrable courses; I decided not to include the others into my GPA.
gee, if only a search engine could answer a question like “convert semester to quarter credits”
