UC and CSU application questions

<p>My daughter is applying to undergraduate program at UC and SJSU. She has taken couple of online courses through <apex learning="" virtual="" school=""> and BYU. The courses that she has taken from Apex are all UC approved. The course that she has taken from BYU is NOT UC approved. But, all the courses are on her high school transcript. On her high school transcript, it is clearly marked from where she took the courses. I have following questions---</apex></p>

<p>(1) On UC application, there is no drop down list for courses for Apex and BYU. Does she enter manually <course title=""> or <transcript abbreviation=""> on the application? E.g from <a href="https://doorways.ucop.edu%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://doorways.ucop.edu&lt;/a> ...</transcript></course></p>

<p>For Apex learning::
Course Title:: English IV (Apex Learning)
Transcript Abbreviation:: English IV : British and World literature</p>

<p>(2) She took an elective from BYU. This elective is not UC approved. But, it is on her transcript. Should she put this elective under BYU or under her high school? Will UC consider this course at the time of calculating her GPA?</p>

<p>I believe only A-G courses or UC approved courses are listed. So DS left off PE, Health and a Business Marketing class from his application. There is a section to list other classes if it shows a particular interest.</p>
