UC App Priority? Nov 1st vs Nov 30th

Hi, I'm planning on submitting my app to UCB/LA/SD. Is there any sort of priority given to students who submit their apps earlier in the month? Like if you submit it earlier in the month (before other people) you get your decision sooner when they come out in the spring?

The reason I ask is there's a UCSD rep coming to my college on the 17th and I was thinking about holding off on submitting until after I meet with them to look over my app. Plus I could use the extra time to go over my personal statements.

Thanks for any responses!

I don’t think its “first come first served”. Just don’t be late!

Nope, there’s no priority for people who submit apps first.

The UC will get all the apps, sort them, put them in categories and release admissions decisions based upon that.

How are categories and decision-release-dates assigned?

Depends on the UC.

Last year, UCSD released (mostly) non-TAG high GPAs first, then (mostly) lower GPA non-TAGs and then (mostly) TAGs.

No priorotiy, but don’t wait for the last day or two. Submit a few days before the 30th.
