I was just about to submit my application for UCLA when I came across this:

"You have indicated that you are applying as a Junior level transfer student. The number of units you've reported (48 semester units/72 quarter units) does not meet the minimum required for the level you selected. The minimum number of units required for your level is 60 semester units/90 quarter units. Please check the box to confirm that this is the correct number of units that you intend to submit or correct your coursework in the Academic History section. Check box to confirm that this is what you intended to submit."

They only had me go up to Fall 2010 in my academic history, but by the time I finish in the Spring to transfer I will have over 60 units. Why won't it let me fill out my Spring classes? I'm so confused I thought it was 60-90 units by TRANSFER, not by the time you submit your application.

It is by the time you transfer. Its possible that some of your courses are not UC transferable and that’s how you only have 48 units by the end of spring. Go over your courses and see which ones do not transfer. You may also would want to think about adding more courses to your spring schedule to meet the minimum.

Keep rechecking your courses and count the units yourself.

@WingedYoshi- well they actually went ahead and counted every course, even the ones that aren’t UC transferable, its just that they won’t let me fill in winter or spring courses, which would put me over the 60 unit mark

the new UC app that we’re using asks specifically for each semester semester/quarter for what courses you have completed or will complete. Maybe in the beginning of the application you stated that you’re attending your college from x amount of years ago until THIS semester instead of saying until next spring.
