username: app ID
password: email address

just a dumb question reguarding this website:

I sent my apps Nov. 29, but it says that the campus I applied for received my apps on 12/14. Should I be worried about this?

Edit:

another dumb question but oh well:

I took classes at my current CC since Fall 02 when I was still in 10th grade, so as it looks on my app, I've actually been at my college for 4+ years (Sept. 02 - current semester). Since they won't look at my high school records, they might take this the wrong way. Also, I did not mention in any part of my app that I was concurrently enrolled at my CC during high school.

My question is: will they know, or atleast conclude, that I was not a full-time college student during my high school years based on the classes I took (1 each semester)? Or should I send them a letter of some sort explaining this...

no; they should be smart enough.. if you don't feel right, give them a call

Which number would I call about this?

general admissions questions?

Pellman don't worry because I had the same thing as you. Check personal data and the date your application was sent/postmarked, mine said 11/30/06, and 12/14 for the schools receiving my application.
It should be fine.

Do you have to update them with grades you received for this concluding fall semester as well as the list of courses if they differ from the one stated as planned courses in the application?

Also, they don't seem to be recognizing my 7 digit UC-ID, since I can't log in and retrieve my password.

This will be where you will update on Jan 8

tenniscraze, me too

tenniscraze angljc1, me too

i think we should be waiting till we are sent the email from the UC i think this is probably why it is not recognizing the ID's and the instructions
but maybe you have already recieved the email?

I haven't received an e-mail, besides the one they send you right after you submit.

Is that a bad thing to have no e-mail from any schools?

um.. i haven't recieved a confirmation mail. (e-mail or snail mail) should I be worried?
also, when do we find out if we got in? is it different for every campus?

I didn't receive any email from the campus; instead, I got a letter from the University of California Undergraduate Admissions about two-three weeks after I submitted my application confirming that UCI, UCSD, UCLA, and UCB have received my application.

^that makes me feel better

I’m in the same boat. I haven’t got any e-mails or letters.

But we wont find out if we got in for another 4 months or so

got the email immediately after i applied. received the snail mail of the schools i applied to 2 weeks afterwards.

for QUARTER systems, when we update the transfer application, do we JUST update our fall grades and our coursework for winter quarter? or do we also have to include coursework for SPRING quarter, even though the schedule hasnt come out yet?

i checked the PDF version of the form update at the bottom of http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/after_apply/after_update_transf.html, and it gives you the option to list coursework from fall06, winter07, spring 07, aand summer 07..

for 4 months?!

sigh.. making things complicated for me again... long story....

actually 5 monthes.

They don't start handing out results till May 1st.

"When will I hear if I've been admitted?

Admission decisions will be made as soon as the review process permits and you will be notified by the campus(es) you selected. For Fall applicants who apply during the November filing period, admission notification will occur from March 1 through March 31 (for freshman applicants) or April 1 through May 1 (for transfer applicants). In keeping with its mission as a public university, The University of California will make every effort to offer admission to one of its campuses to every qualified California resident. "
