UC Appeal

<p>UCs use the phrase “new and compelling information” to define what needs to presented in order to overturn an admissions decision. One of the categories of “new and compelling information” is “extraordinary achievement.” I believe this to be a broad term and was wondering just exactly what kinds of things fall under this category.</p>

<p>Imagine that you’ve been cast in a major motion picture or inked a major book deal or coming in a distance third-cured cancer.</p>

<p>Realistically, if you got all As in your 7th semester AP classes and that was much better than your prior performance, or you won a math tournament or a regional competition, that’s what you could submit.</p>
