So, I've attended this college in my country of origin for a really short amount of time (around 3 months or so, I don't remember). Problem is I got really poor grades in it that I decided to withdraw from the program after I lost my interest (it was an art program). My previous coursework has totally nothing to do with my intended major now (bioengineering). I'm now a community college student planning to transfer UC school with pretty good GPA. It just hit me that I did not have transcript ready to be reported from my old college since I did not have it with me. Should I disclose it in the application or should I just omit it? I'm afraid putting it will hurt my chance to be admitted. I put information about my high school though, but not about this college since I even don't know what grade I got. Now that the deadline is approaching, I don't know what to do :

The UCs ask for official transcripts from all institutions you have attended, which includes the college in your country of origin. (Some universities only require transcripts from colleges that you have attended for at least one year or have attempted at least x number of courses.) So yes, you do need to disclose that information.

Would you get caught if you didn’t disclose? Probably not, but if it does come out - even 20 years from now - your Bachelor’s degree could get revoked. (And all degrees beyond your Bachelor’s degree too, since you wouldn’t have a Bachelor’s degree anymore…) There have been a few famous cases of degrees getting revoked long after a person has graduated. All that needs to happen is that someone conducts a thorough background check on you because you are being considered for promotion to a high-profile position.
