UC Applicants: Do we report Failed Class in HS on application?

I am an out of state applicant. I failed precalc's first semester junior year which I retook and got a 89. Do I still need to report my failed grade in UC application even though I have way more than required math courses fulfilled based on a-g requirements? Or should I only report the retaken course?
Thanks for any advice.

^^ What does your high school transcript say? If you don’t know, go ask your guidance counselor for a copy and write down whatever is on your transcript, as you want your entire application to be in sync.

HS transcript has both courses, failed as well as retaken grade.

^^ Then, that’s what you should report! (You don’t want to put down something different, as then your honesty might be called into question. Tell it like it is.)

Thank you gibby. Do I even have a chance if I have failed class and not so great GPA 3.15 but ok SAT (1960, R 670, M 710, W580)

Sorry, I don’t chance. Nothing against you, I just don’t it for anyone, as I don’t have prognosticative powers. I didn’t have them for my kids, I don’t have them for other kids. You just have to send your applications out into the universe and hope for the best. Good luck to you!

gibby, thank you, I will leave the application as it is and report all my grades.
