Don’t worry about that, I myself spammed 3 counselors at Cal, 1 at LA, 1 at Davis, 2 at Santa Cruz, and got all 7 responses :slight_smile: Some are short and not to the point I asked, but they will reply as long as you make your subject header meaningful. Don’t type a long email and then put “Questions for Transferring” as the subject, they won’t response to email like that. Be specific, aka “Will the course(s) I took at Cal Poly transferable to UC[insert name]?”</p>

<p>I just applied, I am worried about my units though. I attended a private (Christian) four year my freshman year and took some classes that my counselor did not think were going to transfer. I included all courses on my app, knowing some will not transfer after they review before I enroll. These courses put my unit count at about 80 units and senior standing (I believe), but knowing that a couple won’t transfer I hope I will make it under the limit. </p>

<li><p>Should I have left out the courses after determining which will not transfer? </p></li>
<li><p>I submit a revision if this is the case, correct?</p></li>

<p>80 semsester units is not senior standing. 90 semester units is senior standing. UCs only consider TRANSFERRABLE UNITS as well so I think you’re in the clear. Email a transfer counselor to see if the classes that you were taking are transferable or not.</p>

<p>so I ended up dropping the UCSC option. I applied to Cal, UCLA, UCSD, and UCI. But I only completed pre-reqs for Cal :P</p>

<p>The Transfer Academic Update will be available the week of January 9. All transfer applicants are required to submit an update even if you do not have any in-progress or planned courses.</p>
