Hi everyone
I am applying to the UC schools and will be submitting my ACT score. I took my ACT on 12 October (I am an international application).
I have received my multiple choice score already but don’t have my writing score yet. I don’t know when this score will be released but I imagine it won’t be before the UC deadline. I was wondering how I go about declaring my ACT scores on the UC application as the writing score is mandatory to fill in.

You cannot skip the Writing section when self-reporting your test scores. You can either wait until the last minute to submit your application hoping your writing score posts or you can put that the ACT is planned for October 12 with an explanation in the additional information section that you have not received your writing score as of yet and you will send official test scores once completed.
You could also contact UC admissions to see if they can offer you another option.
