Hi. I applied to Berkeley and UCLA last week.
I’m so concerned right now because I misunderstood the purpose of ‘additional comments’ at the end of the application. I thought the section was provided for me to list activities or accomplishments not showcased in other parts of the application so I listed all the other activities/awards I got from competitions etc. But I recently found out that it only asked for necessary explanation of particular circumstances rather than any extra information. Do you think I might sound too cocky? 
I hope my mistake is not too critical but I’m pretty sure universities won’t like how I’m full of myself. Ahh I need some people to soothe me… Also, I got a request from them to submit two recommendation letters yesterday. What does this mean? Does it mean my application is not strong enough?
