I was wondering if you get a medal for an individual sport like swimming is that considered an award for the scholarship/award section of the UC application?
yes but its very minor
unless you are a recruited athlete, it won’t offset below par GPA and SAT.
what are the rest of your stats and which UC are you interested in?
I am applying UC Irvine, Davis, and Riverside
My stats are:
SAT: 1230
ACT: 25
Unweighted GPA: 3.67
Weighted GPA: 3.97
I think you will get into UCR but, not the others. UCSC and SDSU are also worth an ap.
