The deadline for the UC application has been extended to 11:59 PM PST on December 1 for those who at least started the application before 11:59 PM PST on November 30. I feel great because this gives me more time to revise my personal statements. Trust me. I'm not as much of a procrastinator as you may think. I'm simply still unsatisfied with my personal statements.

… It doesn’t take a month to revise. I feel like some procrastination has been heavily involved here Dude, just take a deep breath and chill. It is not the end of the world, if you misplace a comma. The later you submit it the more likely you are to look bad. Far worse than just a missing punctuation mark.

How do you know it’s extended? :

I don’t know how you know but maybe you’re correct. My friend said her cc payment didn’t go through so it caused her to submit late. She sent in her UCA just after 12:00 am and it gave her a blank screen. She called me crying. After sobbing for 25 mins she finally hung up with me and apparently just as she was closing out her browser windows she decided to try one more time. Her UC app was accepted at 12:28 am, and even got an email of confirmation.

Once you’re on that “Review & Submit” page, it says:
“If you started your application prior to 11:59pm PST, November 30, you will have until 11:59pm PST on December 1 to complete the submission of your application for fall 2013 admissions.”

Wendeli, it’s not the misplaced commas or other grammatical errors that I’m concerned about. I’m quite adept in terms of grammar. I just want to come across as a great writer. I don’t want to submit it when I could change the structure of a sentence to make my point in a more effective and impacting manner.
