<p>I got an automated email response from Cal:</p>
<p> The University of California application deadline for the fall 2014 term is 11:59 pm on November 30, Pacific Standard Time. If you start an application before this deadline, you will have through 11:59 pm on December 1 to complete and submit your application. </p>
<p>Am I reading this right, or am I misunderstanding it? I've already started the application last month, so does that mean I have until tomorrow midnight instead of tonight (in about 7 hours)?</p>
<p>Right from their website: “The deadline for filing your UC application for Fall 2014 admission is Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:59 p.m.”</p>

<p>You’re going to want to turn those apps in about now before the site starts crashing.</p>
<p>That’s what confused me - the website contradicts the email. What’s more, I called the UC application hotline and they confirmed that Dec 1 was the last date. I’m submitting it tonight anyway, just to be safe.</p>
<p>You should never turn in applications last minute, turn it in today and you won’t have to worry about any confusion with the dec.1 or nov. 30.</p>
