I got a pre-made account mailed to me to use for my UC application along with an ELC Evaluation Identification Number, but nowhere on the application when I log in do I see a place to put it in. I would think it would be on the personal information page, but it's not. Am I just not seeing it? If anyone can answer my question, that'd be great. Thanks in advance.

You don't have to enter it. If you do a preview of the application it should be on the first page 7 or 8 lines below your name.

You have your pre-made account and so it's already included. You should however make sure that it is correct, just in case.

Nope, I just see my student ID number (CA SSID) 6 lines below my name followed by my date and place of birth and address.

[Edit] Ok, I guess the number doesn't need to be put in then. I was just confused because the letter said "and here's your ELC number," but I didn't see a place to input it on the application.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well, on mine there is my CA SSID number followed by my ELC number then my date and place of birth. If you are ELC eligible, you should probably look into why the number does not appear.

i never got my number. i could go get it from my counselor on monday but that seems really late to try to submit my app. i got a letter saying you don’t have to put your elc number on your app and that the schools will already know. is this true? any advice?

Debbie, please call the ELC office directly if you’re unsure. Their number should be on at least one of your two ELC letters.
