UC Application Error

I accidentally reported that I received a grade of an “A” for both semesters of Honors Pre-Calculus (HL) for my 11th grade coursework. I had actually received a “C” for both semesters, but took a Pre-Calculus course at a local community college and received an “A” the following summer. The two blanks were right next to each other; in retrospect, I believe that I accidentally reported my commnity college “A” grade onto the online slot for Honors Pre-Calculus, as they were listed right next to each other.

I sent an email, fax, and wrote letters to all the UC campuses I applied to regarding this error. I also gave them a contact number to my guidance counselor, who I notified as welll. Though I had checked my application before I had sent it, the mistake never occurred to me until now, when I referred back to my UC application for some SAT I score information.

Does anyone have an experience making that kind of mistake on their application? I’m so afraid that my admissions will be denied because of a typo error.

<p>"I sent an email, fax, and wrote letters to all the UC campuses I applied to regarding this error. I also gave them a contact number to my guidance counselor, who I notified as welll."</p>

<p>You're fine.</p>

<p>I'm not so sure, especially when I find this on Berkeley's FAQ website:</p>

<p>"Please note that misinformation could result in a cancellation of your admission to Berkeley."</p>

<p>But this was unintentional misinformation that you corrected with admissions before your admissions review even began. You're totally fine.</p>

<p>Don't worry, mistakes happen.</p>

<p>i made a similar mistake, but the website said that i only needed to send a letter to the main UC office to fix it. should i also send it to each campus i applied to?</p>

<p>The easiest thing to do would be to call them. But you already faxed them. They'll get the message. Just make sure you get confirmation that it was fixed.</p>
