UC Application mistake

Guys, I made a mistake on my UC application back in november last year. I put family annual income wrong. I don't know if that would jepoardize my admission.

They would’ve verified it with your FAFSA information when they were putting together your financial package.

As long as it wasn’t intentional alteration of grades received, courses taken, extracurriculars or institutions attended I think you should be fine.

Should I report this?
I am no so sure of what to do.

How off were you? Did you put <$50,000 when your family actually makes >$100,000?

But I would just call/send an e-mail to report just to be on the safe side.

I put $20,000 for $60,000. I guess I mislooked my files.

your admission wont be revoked but you can get into trouble with the FA office. contact them immediately.

I see. I am not sure because I am afraid they are mad at me because $20,000 annual might classify me as low income and I think this the major reason they accepted me… When they know it is not true, I just don’t know what will happen

whats ur major; gpa; tap?

I don’t think your family income will affect your admissions. I don’t think that’s a factor they look into when accepting students, or at least what i thought, that wouldn’t be fair. what does income have to do with academic performance right?

jeez! 20k and 60k is quite the discrepancy. You realize that 20k is around the poverty line, and 60k is above the average, right?
