<p>My mom is really stressing that there is no space for gpa or rank. I submitted my app last weekend and she was going through it and noticed I didnt have that in there since it never asked for it. </p>
<p>Is there a way we can change the app and put in my gpa/rank in the additional info or something? Since my gpa/rank are both excellent, we want them to be considered. </p>

<p>Obviously your GPA will be will looked at, otherwise they wouldn't have made you enter in all your grades. The UC probably just doesn't trust students writing in their GPA since more than half the applicants still seemingly dont understand how the UC GPA works.</p>
<p>So no worries. They just calculate it themselves.</p>
<p>UC's do not take class rank into consideration.</p>

<p>What's the point of doing well in school if you can just enter in your own GPA?</p>

<p>dk is correct. Class rank is NOT an admissions criteria. Once you enter all your grades, the UC computer in the sky calculates your gpa for the app reader: UC gpa, weighted & capped; and, UC gpa, weighted ucapped.</p>
