UC Application Problem?!

"Following high school graduation, were there one or more terms during any academic year when you were NOT enrolled in a college/university?

Yes
No
! You indicated you have been continuously enrolled in college, but you have not entered coursework in each term attended. Please correct your entries or select "yes" below and describe the gap.

If "yes," you must describe your activities during the term(s) you were not attending college. Please specify the dates of each term. "

Is this asking me what I did over my summer break? I'm confused. lajflasjdlaskdjasld

yea i actually had the same problem

so i chose Yes
then I wrote in the explanation that I didn't take any classes between graduation and my freshmen year or something like that

no, it's asking you to write down the planned courses you plan to take for the spring semester.

I had the same prob too when i forgot to write down my spring courses (all planned of course), and when i wrote them down, problem solved :)

Summer Breaks and Winter Breaks (even schools with intercession) are NOT considered gap.

Gap is when you skip the REGULAR term, such as Fall or Spring.
When you do not write down the planned courses for the Spring semester, the system's assuming that you are skipping the Spring semester and consider that as a gap.

It's asking what I did after High School, though, not what I plan on taking in the future. Also I'm on the quarter system and don't really know what I'll be taking spring quarter...so I'm guessing they're asking what i did for "summer" (what shpeel said)...no?

In the section that asks you to write down the courses and grades, the instruction clearly says to write down your planned courses for the terms you have not taken yet.

So it's best to just guess what you'll be taking for spring.

As i said before, skipping summer session is NOT considered gap.

i had the same problem. its because you didnt finish putting in your grades, so it thinks you skipped a semester

well i mean, obviously.

but that's the "glitch" or whatever

it just keeps coming up that I indicated a gap, when I did not.
