UC Application: question! regarding courses

What to do if "CCCT" doesn't show up next to the courses I listed?

Of all the classes I entered while filling out the online application form, I have yet to see one of them approved as CCCT.

I know these classes are transferable. example: calc, physics, etc.

You need to list them exactly as they are on your trascript; for instance you may need to spell out calc. as "calculus". Also with the numbers if you have "100F" write "100F" not "100"...btw there is a thread that already has this info.
Fidget around with the words till you get CCCT.

You did not input the class code correctly, for example if you took Physical Science 1 you would have to list it as PHYS SC 1.

The way you entered the class is 'unrecognizable' to the portion of the application that labels CCT or "California Community College Transferable".

You MUST fix this, bc I doubt these schools waste time going through your course list to check that you have fulfilled the IGETC requirements. GO to assist. org to see the appropriate abbreviations of each. Not a big deal, I remember that happening to me a few days ago.

In fact, it says so in Part 3 of 4 of the Acdemic History. Read all the instructions before you jump into the application! :) Good luck.

on my transcript it says Bio but when i put it in last summer i noticed it didn't show up until later so i changed it around and when i finally put BIOLOGY the ccct came up, so it depends

yes, thanks to all who have responded.
While I do understand all the issues addressed in your posts, I am still yet to figure this problem out.

Here's an example of an entry I made:
Dept. Course# Course Title Units Grade
MATH 72 Calculus II with Analytic Geom 5 A

You're still doing it wrong.
Go to assist. org and follow proper abbreviation.(!)

Woman.Of.Troy, thanks for your help, I finally realized I was missing a "-" right next to the departmen name. For example "MATH" would be "MATH-"

would you like to critique my essay? if anyone would like to critique my essay, I'd appreciate it. Grammar, structure, content, etc

I just submitted my application and a lot of my classes that are obviously transferable didn't get the CCCT designation. I figured this happens a lot and that they're used to it.

I copied and pasted the course titles from my transcripts exactly and used assist and it still didn't come up as CCCT though assist says it is.

heres the courses (without the correct title) that didn't get the designation:
Poli 1 - Intro to American Government
History 4CH - Honors history of western civ
Music 8H - Honors Music of Multicultural america

So am i screwed?

No, our transfer center head said that he went to a UC conference and the UC people said that this happens alot. It is ok. You should notify them on the Additional Comments box.

We double check all courses that don’t list as transferable and will fix this error on our side. Although I ask that anyone hasn’t filed their application yet to visit Welcome to ASSIST and list the courses as shown so they will appear as transferable just to save us a little bit of time. This of course will have no effect on your admissions decision if you choose not, or didn’t, do this.

UCD Admissions,

It doesn't even make a little bit of a difference in the admissions decision, even though it is clear evidence a person can't follow clear and simple instructions? ;-)

No difference unless their courses are listed in an unrecognizable fashion, such that we can’t give credit for the course.
