UC Application question (summer activities)

I am filling out the “Activities” section of my UC application, and I had a question about summer activities. If I want to report activities I have done in the summer between my junior and senior year, should I report them as 11th grade activities or 12th grade activities? (I am reporting it under the “Extracurricular Activities” sub-section.)

As 11th grade.

I was having my son put activities for the summer between 11th and 12th as 12th. My reasoning was that he had completed 11th, and was now in 12th grade.

I would also put 12th, but that’s what the norm was for the local area schools.
