I had an internship at UCSD medical center over the summer and I was wondering if this will better my chances of getting into a UC school? 4.5 gpa, 29 ACT, biology major. Thanks
An Internship is definitely a great EC to list on your application but will it propel you to the top of the pile for all the UC’s, probably not. Apply to all the UC’s of interest and see where it takes you. If you plan to apply to UCSD, UCLA or UCB, I would consider bumping up your ACT score into the 31+ range.
