<p>I read that somewhere. Berkeley's application count is probably a bit similar to last year's... it definitely did not increase to 86000+ as suggested by a previous thread. :)</p>

<p>From my connections, the count is 49,000. That is up from 48,000 last year. So yes, about 2%.</p>
