I just thought it'd be fitting to make a thread for a sigh of relief--the sigh that comes from finishing those UC Apps. Where/when did you finish applying?

I love how hassle-free the app. was in terms of transcript, counselor rec, and teacher recs. I didn't need to wait on anyone else to finish things. Anyway, I finished my application to UC Berkeley yesterday, and it definitely felt good when I hit the submit button. :)

The UC apps are hassle-free and simple indeed. Tonight I finished my app to 1 campus: UCLA.

finished tuesday night. so relieved, but anxious for decisions at the same time

applied to UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, and UCSB

mainly hoping for UCLA

I still have to do my 200 word essays, staying up tonight for that.

Finished on Thanksgiving day (woot!); applied to the top two tiers (meaning, everyone excluding santa cruz, riverside and merced)

hoping for UCSD (mainly) and UCLA.

I don't feel lighter though, because now I'm just worried that I'd be rejected everywhere.......

Finished last Saturday. I laugh at the people who are finishing their app today or tomorrow. The early bird gets the worm.

I just hope my essays are okay.

submitted yesterday...applied to ucb and ucla as matches, ucsd as a safe match, and ucsb and uci as safeties...good luck to you all!

Submitted on Tuesday morning. Pulled an all-nighter to write a new essay and to finish up my app. I have a question about something that I forgot to call and find the answer to prior to submitting it, though, so I'll have to do that tomorrow.

Oh yeah. I applied to all 9. :x

Submitted today. Please accept me Berkeley, Los Angles, Santa Barbara. I hope I get $$ at SB real bad. I really want a good excuse to go there even though I'm expecting better options.

^Wow. You've obviously got money to spend, too.

UC is very nice, so gentle.

I submitted mine ten minutes ago - UCD, UCSB, UCSD, and UCI.
My Internet absolutely would not load the "Important Scholarship Info" pdf and I submitted anyway....was that a fatal move? what did it say? I think everything was right with my application, so I hope it won't be a problem.

Murasaki: I'm assuming that your comment was directed toward my post, haha. Well, I qualify for the fee waiver, so I only had to pay for 5 campuses, but honestly, all 9 are reaches for me because I don't even meet the minimum GPA requirement. Yep. That might change after I call and ask about a foreign language course that I took elsewhere, but even with those grades added in, my UC GPA would be barely skimming it. If I had a higher GPA, I really wouldn't have applied to that many UCs, but now I need to widen my chances... I suppose.

pulling a long night today to rewrite one of my 200 word essay...

I'm DONE.. i'm done.. i'm DONE.. i'M DONE.
i'm so happy that i'm done!

finished on the 28th at 11.59 pm :D exactly 1 day earlier. I'm extremely proud of myself :D

that's 2 days earlier.

but be glad cuz the SERVER ARE DOWN NOW

Phew! I just finished! I finally submitted the darned thing on Nov. 30, 12 AM. =_= Yay!

i submitted mine last night. overall, it was pretty painless. there is so much space on the application to explain everything unlike some other colleges. i applied to UCB, UCLA & UCSD.
