<p>Hi for the University of California application, where do I mention activities outside of school. For example, I take music classes or martial arts classes outside of school. I think it would go either in the optional section after the personal statement or in extracurricular activities. Any thoughts?</p>
<p>Those are pretty much, by definition, extracurriculars.</p>
