UC APPS- One really good essay, one not so great.

What would the UC admissions officers think if an applicant submitted one really well written personal statement while the second statement wasn't so great?

I feel like I answered the first prompt really well, but I struggled a little more with the second one. I guess it's because I feel so strongly about the first one, and no so much the second.. I'm going to have a couple of people go over the second one before I submit it, in hopes that I'll be able to somehow improve it with their critique.

The essays are 100% my own, but I feel a little paranoid that the quality of work between the two essays differ greatly enough to lead the officers into thinking that someone else wrote it. /:

I totally know how you feel, one prompt gets me all excited and then the second one just bums me out. You could relate a topic in the second one back to the first one if you are concerned about officers thinking someone else wrote it, but I wouldn’t stress too much over that (you’re just over thinking).
