Hi, as I submitted my UC applications Friday, it said that I didn't have my 1 year of fine art. Well my situation is that I took graphic arts for the first semester, switched into swimming for second semester- which required me to switch my schedule and take digital media (which is another fine art class). I put "NO" for Graphic Art Second Seme grade and "NO" for Digital Medias First Seme grade but the UC application still said that I didn't fulfill my Fine Art Req. This is what the UC site states: "One YEARLONG course of visual and performing arts chosen from the following: dance, drama/theater, music or visual art". I still took one yearlong course of art. Two semesters, one year. Just two different classes. Because I couldn't submit it, I just put in an "A" in my Graphic Arts Second Seme grade, so that it showed that I fulfilled my requirements. I plan to call the admissions office on Monday telling them of my situation. Any suggestions?
