UC Audit: Volunteer Work Hour Amount?

At my school, community service hours are made mandatory, so I would have the verification forms to prove I did them, but I don't really know if the amount I've actually done really matches up to the amount I wrote, or if I even logged every time I went. I've done Heal the Bay beach-clean ups, but would it hurt if I logged the hours for my school just once a year when I put two weeks a year on the application? Will they be that specific with evidence?

Also, I don't know how many hours I've done for my parish or for a local convalescent home, so I just estimated. Will I have to prove those hours specifically as well? Would a letter from my pastor or the hospital's manager suffice?

I'm just making sure in the slim chance that I get the audit. I don't want them to think I'm a liar just because there's no proof.

I know this is too late, but an audit would not consist of just logged hours. They would probably ask you about your volunteer experience in an interview or maybe some references to confirm.

My grandmother does tons of volunteering and she doesn’t log it at all. It would be offensive for someone to ask for verification forms as proof (not that she’d be applying, just an e.g.). The schools don’t have the time or resources to check that out, so I’d presume your word is fine.
