UC Berk/Georgetown?

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone would be willing to tell me what chances I have of getting into UC Berkeley and Georgetown?

Academics/Background:

-ranked 3 out of 355
-SAT subject test scores: french - 800, eng lit- 610 BUT my SAT 1 scores are really really low -1690 (and the worst part i cant take them again! Messed up big time. I know). My superscore comes to a 1730 for the schools above that take the scores in that way.

I applied for International Relations and Political Sciences! Any help would be really useful! Thank you so much for taking the time to read!

I’m not as familiar with Georgetown’s acceptance policies, although I have a son who applied there, so I guess we will be finding out…

As to Berkeley, you already know your SAT score is low. Having said that, your background is extremely interesting and I think they would be off their rocker if they DIDN’T admit you. Your background is so unusual, however, that I don’t think anyone can really equate it to the student profiles we typically see.

Good luck!

Can you take the ACT? Your SAT is quite low for these colleges. Try taking the ACT and getting a 30+.
With current scores both low reaches
If you can excel on ACT then high match

collegevetting - thank you very much!

MBenz23 - They don’t offer the ACT in my country - only the SATs. I wish I could have taken them!

@basanti Is there any chance that you can take the SAT again?
can I have a chance back

Your SAT scores are too low for these two schools. You can apply as major reaches, but its very very unlikely. Sorry. Best of luck. Try submitting apps to other schools in DC like George Washington U and American U. Also submit to other UC schools like UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego.
