when u filled out ur myberkeleyupdate in january, u had certain required forms, right? In my case, I have unit/ Igetc/ Work in Progress forms. However, I don’t have “major prerequisite form” although there are five major prerequisites for this major. Thus, I just wondered what is your case cuz we applied for the same major.

Thanks for the encouragement & best wishes BeaverHunt. I don’t want to end up like the other managers at work: contented with 30+ yrs of service doing the same thing. I want more in life so I push myself harder to achieve that. I took my son to Orlando (DisneyWorld & Universal Studios) for 1 wk during Spring break. I told him that if I get into Berkeley that I might not be able to take him places until after I graduate and no more big toy shopping spree. He said it’s OK, that he understands. I don’t want to give up my work (esp $$$) but I want to invest in my education.

I’m jealous with other people who go to school full-time because they have parents who could support them. On the other hand, I’m grateful that I had a great job in the last 14 years that paid well & gave me plenty of work experiences. So for all of you who don’t have families yet, please stay in school Priorities change when you have kids although I have no regrets at all (didn’t go to school for 4 years after giving birth & went back to occupational from management at work). Now who sounds “preachy???” Ha-ha!
