Hi everyone. who do you email or contact if a course you planned on taking ended up changing?
I put on my planned coursework that during the Spring semester I was going to take the class for Sociology of Sexuality at my CC, but turns out that class got cancelled. Instead I took (and have been enrolled in) Sociology of Gender… I was just checking the conditions of admission on Berkeley’s site and they literally wrote out that I needed to complete the classes that I put in my coursework planner, including Soc of Sexuality.
The soc class I was supposed to do is soc 21, but I ended up taking soc 31. Who do I email about this change? Obvi (hopefully) this doesn’t affect admission… lol.
@ericbeige are you a soc major? as long as you inform them of the change I don’t think it will matter because it isn’t a prereq class, and you fulfilled the units with a different soc course.

Anyone have any update about financial aid? other than that email that was sent yesterday…
It’s kind of frustrating that they release decisions literally 2 weekend days before we have to SIR for cal states. They shouldn’t leave such a small room for error…
@caliguy925 I am pre-med. I’m still debating between Berkeley and SD, since SD is known for bio. I’ll probably end up choosing Berkeley though since it’s so close to home for me.

@Ahmeda13 Hey, congrats on getting accepted to both UCLA and UC Berkeley! Honestly, I feel at home at Cal. I don’t get that same feeling at UCLA, and I could tell that I would not enjoy my time there. Attend the school that you like more, after all you are going to be there for the next two years. It also doesn’t hurt that Berkeley’s political science department is amazing, which attracted me to it in the first place.
