I think @relaxedsoup had it right. It takes a day or two. So it might come in the next couple of hours or tomorrow if you applied right now. Hopefully you get it earlier instead of later so you can find out. It would be interesting if this is Cal’s early acceptance check, like SD’s housing cheat or Davis’ financial aid cheat.

Oh wow, you’re totally right. I saw the numbers I was referring to on the same site you’re linking to so maybe I was looking at a previous year? I have a better chance than I thought.
@Orangered123 I’m curious to see if anyone could log into Cal Central with their MAP credentials without creating a Cal Central account.

@LandUseLaw To get into Cal Central you actually have to make a separate account and fill out a form. https://myapp.berkeley.edu/register/2017 I filled it out since I wanted to sign up for summer classes a month ago. @relaxedsoup thought about doing the same thing but earlier this week. We both connected out CalCentral with our MAP login.
When he logged on he saw the notification welcoming new admitted and waitlisted students/families. My most recent notification are general campus stuff for summer sessions. Nothing about admitted students or such. We’re wondering if having that notification is an early indication of admission.
Hopefully everything works out for all of us tomorrow at 3:30.

Got waitlisted for UCLA missing 2 pre reqs. So wasn’t expecting much. Confident now about Berkeley with all pre reqs done except Discrete that’s not required for admission. Good luck all tomorrow!!

@BoredEngineer From what I understand, it’ll come out anytime from 3:30 to 4:00. I have class at the time, but I’m skipping it this week. It’s a physical education class so I’m not too worried. Need to prepare by buying ice cream and renting out La La Land at Redbox.
