@Eunie314 If you don’t get into Cal tomorrow, I would recommend an appeal at SD, LA or Cal depending on which school you feel you have the best shot or like the best. Your GPA is excellent and along with the completion of everything else you should get into one of the three schools.
Hi fellow major :)>- :)>- Good luck to you with Cal’s decision coming out tomorrow! Cal is my dream school but I know how hard it is to get in so I won’t get my hopes too high [-( [-(
@HeirOfLincoln Polisci is slightly more difficult to get into at Cal, but emphasis on the slightly. The GPA averages on the infocenter are slightly different but fairly close together. Your essays will probably determine a lot.

@Eunie314 I think the deadline for appeals for most UC schools was April 15th, but you should defintely check to see if this is true.
@Orangered123 i made it this an hour or two ago lol
@Bakasworld That’s the freshmen deadline. Most transfers learned of their decisions in the past week. We almost surely have a separate transfer appeal deadline.
@xaul95 hopefully this doesn’t mean anything. Did you connect it to your Berkeley Map account?
Hi, I made a CalCentral account this morning and I can also see what @relaxedsoup saw: at the top-left corner, the date and link to make a bConnected account, and then under “Notifications,” a link to “New Admit Tours” dated Apr 26. Most notably, I clicked on the link to bConnected and was able to make a berkeley.edu email address. Is anyone else able to do this? I’m an English major from a four-year university, by the way (and was denied by UCLA).
@Orangered123 I thought this was the class of 2021 applicant thread haha
Thanks guys! I am considering an appeal… Hope i can get some positive responses!
@Orangered123 yeah i’m able to sign in using my MAP info and i hope it doesnt. i really want to get into UCB
@xaul95 @Orangered123 Yeah I can only see the summer info session notification when I log in too
Almost there, everyone.
Suggestion: step away from your computer. Focus on finishing community college strong. Go for a walk. Stop worrying about tonorrrow. There are no tip, tricks, hacks, loopholes, or signs if you’re in based off MAP, CalCentral, or elsewhere. So relax, chill out, and don’t overthink it.
@hotarutomoe I can make a bconnected account. (Just did for luck) but I don’t see the notification.
Goodluck everyone!!! Any IB majors here?
@Eunie314 wow, thats insane! Your GPA is great! I got in sd econ with 3.67, rejected by LA. Hopefully we both get in cal
I posted my stats earlier, but do you guys think I still stand a chance for UCB? I got rejected from LA yesterday so I’ve lost almost all hope for a good news tomorrow (Berkeley’s EECS is way more competitive than LA’s EE)…

@Orangered123 You were able to make a berkeley.edu email address? Does that mean anyone with a CalCentral account can, then? :-/
Hey thanks for letting me know about the times tomorrow. Not going to be able to sleep tonight. Insanely nervous about tomorrow. I actually have work as a tutor and my meeting with my Honors Club which i’m the secretary of tomorrow but those will only run until 2:15. I’m not going to be able to focus on those either. >_<
does anyone know if we get an email of our admission? I couldnt find last year’s thread
