Thanks so much. I will let them know ASAP. What specifically is the reason to let them know immediately? Just because their decision takes time and I can have more time to move on to other colleges if they say no? They are asking to be informed immediately as well. I’m just curious.

Could come out anywhere from noon to 3, or later if there are delays. Last year there were delays, so it’s possible.
I just spoke with an admissions officer on the Berkeley campus who said anyone who’s trying a so-called address trick is getting rejected. They’re tracking.

@sarah38 You need to let them know right away because that way you guys can work something out! if you don’t tell them, when you send your transcript they are going to catch you and most probably rescind your acceptance, however if you let them know now, may be they will let you take that class during summer! (happened to me with used, in retaking the calc 1 now, and will take calc 2 during summer)

For those asking about the notification emails… I only got a notification email from UC Davis regarding acceptance…both UCLA and Irvine never sent a notification first and I got accepted to both. I’d just start checking your portal don’t wait for an email. I heard 3:00 is the release time from my Berkeley admission counselor.
