What’s funny is that I got rejected from UC Irvine and also admitted to UCLA…

SAT: 1270 ACT: 25
Don’t stress too much about test scores 
I was also asked for letters of rec
My daughter got in. She was not asked for a LOR, goes to a private school, was waitlisted by UCI & UC Davis, rejected at UCLA. Go figure! Don’t lose hope if you didn’t get in. There is a place for each one of you. Good luck to everybody who is waiting for other schools.

Waitlisted, even though I got asked for a LOR and submitted one. I wasn’t planning on attending but honestly disappointed because I see other people with lower grades and test scores than me in my school getting accepted.

I was pretty confident with my extracurricular stuffs and essays, but I guess the admin didn’t.
Well, I kinda expected since I am an international student from South Korea, and we have very small pool to compete.

Accepted oh my gosh!!! So happy for this after getting rejected at Penn and waitlisted at Cornell. Oh, and I wasn’t asked for LOR, btw Congrats everyone!

@17schroder Congrats! You definitely have a tough decision! I’d go with Cal. Phenomenal school, location, & environment. Have friends at both Duke & Berkeley. IMHO – Go Cal!
