a lot of Regents’ Scholars and/or early admits haven’t had to pay the deposit–there’s an entire thread about it on the Facebook group.
Hey questionnnn. So I’m deciding between First Year Pathways and I can’t see the realll difference between the Traditional and Fall Program @ Berkeley. Do you guys think it’s a better idea to do the fall program since they’re smaller classes and more interconnected, or should I do traditional just because its the traditional pathway?
There is a separate thread on this and it appears Traditional is by far the way to go.
can cal rescind me for poor AP exam scores? Do they care if I send in all 2s, since they make you send all?
^ Only if you said they were higher on your application.
thanks, @Ynotgo . I mean, these upcoming ones, for senior year. They want us to send them in July. Can I be revoked just for not doing well on the ones I take after admission?
No. Your AP exam results will not affect your acceptance.
@spike22 you don’t have to start spamming threads because Berkeley didn’t accept you lol
@LookAtThisNet too bad I didn’t apply. I didn’t want to be coerced into being a communist / anarchist/ violent liberal activist. Berkeley is overrated.
@spike22 ok so you’re on this thread because?
Do people who got off the waitlist get the acceptance packet as well???
@akizaka46 Yes, people who’ve been admitted off of the waitlist get the same FA opportunities as those who were admitted earlier.
Does anyone know how to apply for the housing? The deadline was May 2nd for RD students, but we still get the same opportunity, right?
is there a group message for admitted students?
@GaryDong98 Yes, The deadline for housing for off-the-waitlist students is the same as the SIR deadline (and it’s priority as well).
anyone here knows if low IB exams will affect your admission to Cal? On the admission contract, it says that I must report those scores…
@gavarno88 It may affect your admission to Cal. Cal’s contract states 3.0 or higher, which roughly translates to 4 or higher on each IB test you take.
What contract?
@kibbles I assume they are referencing the conditions of admission letter.
Hmmm. Full IB here and no mention of a specific score needed in admit letter.
