UC Berkeley accepting spring admits for spring 2012?

<p>I'm asking this for a friend of mine.
I know none of the UC's opened admission for spring or winter last year due to budget cuts, but a friend of mine wants to app. I hope someone knows the answer to this question. Thank you</p>
